- Your car is the second largest investment of your life. Preserve its value by having it professionally prepared.
- Never drive a car that could possibly be unsafe due to damages.
- You are not required by law to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal
- Differences in repair estimates are extremely common. A lower or less-than-honest estimate may not include all of the necessary repairs.
- Choose a shop that uses uni-body repair equipment and certified technicians. H&V is a member of I-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repairs) and ASE (Automotive Service Excellence), the industry's top two training organizations.
- Look for current membership in a collision repair association. H&V is a member of the Capital District Auto Collision Technicians Association.
- Ask if your repair shop will be using original equipment manufacturers' (OEM) replacement parts. H&V only uses OEM replacement parts.
- Ask if the shop offers a repair warranty on "parts and labor". H&V provides a free lifetime nationwide warranty on parts and labor.
- Ask H&V to help you negotiate your claim with your insurance company.
